She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Clark Williams and Ruth V. Eddy Williams; her husbands, John H. Gilcrest, Jr., Clair Lewis Jenkins and James E. Penebaker; and her daughter Karen Elaine Gilcrest.
She is survived by: her son John Gilcrest; her aunt Betty Eddy; and her pet Jazz.
