He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Welling and Helen Townsend Welling; his son Matthew Welling; his sister Deanna Hurst; and his daughter Mary Ann Mazzaferro.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Borsick-Welling; his children, Robert (Shannon), Mark (Marianne), John, Sandra Tressler, Lorren Rogers, Michael, Luke, Charla Armstrong and Dustin Welling; and his sister Pauline Albrecht. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
