He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Riffee and Mildred Carr Riffee; and his wife Mary Jane Ralston. He is survived by: his children, Brian Riffee (Jennifer) of Richmond, Debbie Meadows (Richard) of Steubenville and Carol Pipo (David) of Steubenville; his brothers, James Riffee (Betty) of Steubenville and Thomas Riffee of Martins Ferry; his grandchildren, Jessica Mosti (Jared), Todd Meadows, Caitlin, Courtney Pipo and Christopher Riffee; and his great grandchildren, Westlyn and Harper Mosti.
