Rosemary O'Brien Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary O'Brien of Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Minco and Mary Minco. She is survived by: her husband Kieran "Kerry"; her sister Joanne; her brother-in-law Joseph DiDonato; her son Melvin "Mel" (Theresa); her nieces, Karen Hock (Greg) and Pam Kapustik (Mike); her grandchildren, Kiera, Liam and Owen; and her great-nephews, Gregory (Jess), Ryan Hock (Kim) and Jared Kapustik (Amanda). She is also survived by many cousins and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel (4435 Sunset Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (852 Main St, Wintersville, OH 43953).
In lieu of flowers, Rosemary's family requests that donations be made to Valley Hospice, whose phenomenal staff provided peace and comfort to Rosemary and her family in her final weeks.
