It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel B. Peeler Jr. of Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Samuel B. Peeler Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel B. Peeler, and Mazie Peeler, Sr. (Booth). He is survived by: his wife Sara Peeler (Young); his sons, Samuel Peeler of Steubenville, OH, Leonard Peeler (Jayna) of New Cumberland, WV and Jody Peeler (GiGi) of Hopedale, OH; his sister Joanne Sogan (late Paul) of Mingo Junction, OH; and his grandchildren, Chad Peeler, Benjamin Peeler (Hannah), Courtney Edman (Isaac), Cole Peeler, Logan Peeler and Nicolette Peeler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wheeler Funeral Homes (101 Longview Ave, Mingo Junction, OH 43938). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
