With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sondra Pompa of Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on March 20, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sondra shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sondra farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Haney and Agnes Haney (Kirkpatrick); her husband Joseph F. Pompa; and her sisters, Dolly Johns (Edgar) and W. Susan Roush (Willis).
She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Sharp of Colorado and Melissa Tice (Billy) of Wintersville; her grandchildren, Zachary Perine (Anna), Mallory Lane (Alicia) and Tanner Tice; and her great grandchild Ariana Perine.
