He was predeceased by: his mother Ada Bennett Coleman; his son Jerry Dean "Weiner" Coleman; his brothers, Donald Coleman (Jean) and James Coleman (Judy); his sister-in-law Dixie Coleman; his nieces, Darla Coleman and Kelly Bosner; and his nephew Aaron Coleman.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Coleman (April) of Stockport, Daniel Coleman (Teresa) of Stockport and Steven Coleman of Stockport; and his brother Ronald Coleman of Stockport. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
