He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Haas and Elizabeth Haas (Myers); his great grandchild Ilex Bragg; and his brothers, Donald "Dee" and Eugene "Speed" Haas.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine C. Haas; his children, Steven Haas (Jean), Terry Haas (Vicki), Mary Brinker (Jack), Cindy Leffler, Don Waters, Rusty Waters (Tina Torres) and Joel Waters (Tracie); his grandchildren, Amanda Swartz (Luke), Tom Clark, Nathan Wiedenhoft (Leah), Kymberly Bragg (Jesse), Thom Brinker (Samantha), Casey Waters (Ashley), Kaitlyn Cauley (Jordan DeLong), Kathryn Brinker (Jake Miller), Brandon Waters, Jessica Frank (Chad), Joseph Leffler (Tyra) and Trenton Waters (Melody Betancort); and the mother of his children Lois Padgett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials take the form of contributions to: St. John's Lutheran Church or the Troy Twp., Volunteer Fire Department.
