He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Simon and Phyllis Simon (Lewis); and his siblings, Lavette and Eddie. He is survived by: his children, Darcy "Sunshine" West of Circleville, Jason "J. J." West of Commercial Point, Marybeth "Buppy" Timmons (Travis) of Stoutsville, Lindsay "Edgie" Sisler (Ryan) of Amanda, Jessica "Fast Jammies" Williams of Stoutsville, Emmie Sue "Little Britches" Evans (Clint) of Lancaster, Becky Jewell (Jeff) of Stoutsville, Sara Ryan of Stoutsville and Tina Uhl of Stoutsville; his grandchildren, Trey, Zoe, James West, Emma May "Sugar Foot" Timmons, Duke "Wing Ding", Bristol "" Sisler of Tennessee, Jerzi "Fuzz", Tesla "Snip" Williams, Vera, Wren, Bree Evans, Faith Jewell, Tayvan Ryan and Kenzie Uhl; his great grandchild Oliver West; his sisters, Debbie Borders (Andy) of Columbus, Karen Ayers (Scott) of Columbus and Collett Hayes of Columbus; and his farm buddy Bobcat. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
