With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Steve Mashek (Stow, Ohio), who passed away on March 3, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Mashek; and his brother Rev. John D. Mashek. He is survived by: his father Steve Mashek; his children, Sheryl Plath, Daniel Mashek (Dawn), Kimberly Mashek and Steven Mashek (Kris); his grandchildren, Nick Plath, Christine Wurgler (John), Matthew Mashek, Tyler Mashek, David Plath (Ariel), Hannah Winkler (Matt), Christopher Sipe, Emily and Sara Stewart; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Preston Wurgler and Luci; his cousin Al Segedy; and his friend Aggie Denning. He is also survived by good friends, neighbors, former teachers and classmates.
