J.); her grandchildren, Lucy and Anthony Rufo (Bubba); her brother Mark Mullaly; her siblings-in-law, Karen Mullaly, Paul Mostyn and Janet Mostyn; and her close friend Mary Ellen Rook.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Lakemore United Methodist Church (1536 Flickinger Rd, Akron, OH 44312).

“Hi! This is the missing part of the family. We were thrown out after Christmas 2025 because I stood up and said I wanted to be part of my mother’s journey. I was judged incorrectly without a conversation to defend myself and my voice was silenced and I was robbed from the last 9 months of my mother’s life. My boys didn’t get to say goodbye to their grandmother because it was decided for us to not be part of it. I love my mother very much. Wish I got the chance to say goodbye.”

“Not one single person told my family they were sorry for our loss. Again my family was robbed of this because of false judgement. We love you Chooch. I don’t blame you because your voice was also shut out by bullies. Wish it was different mom. I love you so much and unconditional you just didn’t see it or was let to see it.
