He was predeceased by: his mother Priscilla Sommer (Edwards). He is survived by: his father Kermit L. Sommer; his wife Janis Sommer (Brugler); his children, Rachel Sommer and Kyle Sommer; and his sister Cynthia Schroeder (Sommer).
