It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Ann (Steele) Shallahamer of Stow, Ohio, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Steele and Ruth Steele; her husband Donald L. Shallahamer; her daughter Rebecca Thompson (Bauder); her sister Patricia Kerr; and her sons-in-law, Carl Thompson, Ralph DeGennaro and Paul Genda, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Genda (Bauder), Michael Bauder [Lisa], Donald E. Shallahamer [Norma] and Amy Edwards DeGennaro (Shallahamer); her brother David Steele of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren, Paul Michael Genda, Tina Thompson, Lisa Genda, Amber Denker (Thompson), Ben, Timothy Shallahamer, Donny Shallahamer, Jeremy Bauder and Michael Edwards; her great grandchildren, Kiera Johnson, Tavin Genda, Zack Dunham, Kieon Johnson, Xavier Genda and Makenna Genda; and her friends, Ginny Moore, Jeff, Coleen Rossow, Kendra Boulton and Yvonne Allen.
She bowled twice a week until the Covid pandemic forced her to stop at age 85; she had her children and grandchildren bowling with her at a very young age.
