He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Hamilton; his parents, Winfred Hamilton and Mary Jane Hamilton; and his sisters, Winnie Hoover and Barbara Diehl.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Lasley (Dan), Jill Donatell (Eugene), Jodi Keller (Steve) and Jeff Hamilton (Rosemary); and his brothers, James, Samuel (Judy) and Senator William Hamilton (Sue). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
