He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Kovach and Betty Kovach; and his brothers, Chuck, Steve, John, Bob and Gene.
He is survived by: his wife Teri Kovach; his children, Bud Kovach (Jackie), Geri Mendat (Chuck) and Kari Robertson; his stepsons, Greg (Sherri) and Dodd Snow; and his siblings, Maryanne Murphy (Jim) and Joseph Kovach. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
