He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Trowbridge and Georgie Trowbridge; his son Daniel; and his brothers, Ralph, Roy and Gene Trowbridge.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his sons, Mark (Peggy), David (Deborah) and Stephen (Valerie); his daughter-in-law Megan Trowbridge; his grandchildren, Seth, Paul (Hayley), Luke (Naomi), Tom (Jamie), Evan (Sara), Daniel (Sarah), Matthew (Brittany), Michael, Brent (Sitha), Christopher (Jennifer), Jonathan (Megan), Andrew (Leah), Peter, April (Logan), Tera and Karen; and his sister Alice Jane Leyden (Don). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family members.
