He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Costello and Nancy Costello; his in-laws, Gertrude and Marion Rossman; and his brothers-in-law, Sam Wagner and David Brysacz.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sister Sue Moser (Jim); his sons, Chad (Jennifer) and Christian (Melissa); his grandchildren, Liddia (Patrick), Gavin (Hannah), Rileigh, Caylie, Cole and Landon; his great grandchildren, Knox and Aiden; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Wagner and Sue Brysacz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
