He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hurd and Nina Hurd; and his wife Joan Idle (Idle). He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Yeary (Keith) and Karen (Dugan); his grandchildren, Robert Yeary (Caitlin), Lauren (Yeary), Emma, Stephen and Amy (Hlad); and his great grandchild Asher.
