She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sandy and Mary Sandy; her husband Frank Bernert Jr.; and her siblings, Jim, Janet, Jack and Joy.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Bernert (Kim), Kristin Bernert (Kate Reidel) and Katie Finnegan (Nick); and her grandchildren, Will, Maddie, Ellie, Grady, Emma, Jack and Benjamin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Pat Summitt Foundation in her memory.
