In loving memory of Joseph W. Martis Jr. of Stow, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who departed this world on June 25, 2025 at the age of 77. Joseph leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Martis (Riedel); his parents, Joseph W., Sr. and Marie Martis; and also Marlene Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa McClelland (David) and Elizabeth Hradesky (Michael); his grandchildren, Morgan, Andrew McClelland, Benjamin, Matthew and Celia Hradesky; his sister Dolores Bailey; and his siblings-in-law, Walter J. Riedel, Jean Demkowicz and Donna Bokhari (Eric). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Redmon Funeral Home (3633 Darrow Rd, Stow, OH 44224). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (3179 Kent Rd, Stow, OH 44224). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (6265 Columbia Rd, Olmsted Township, OH 44138).
