He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Phillips of North Carolina and Bob George (Marilyn) of Florida; and his children, Norman "Sonny" George of Ohio, Karen Deviers (Jimmy) of South Carolina and Lydia Johnston (Robert) of South Carolina. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
