He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Gates and Florence Gates (Betty); and his sisters, Dorothy Nigh (Jack) and Maxine Wagner (Sam). He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, David and Barbara; and his nephews, Chuck, Bob and Bill Wagner.
