He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schoenstein and Dorothy Schoenstein; and his siblings, Bill, Maryellen Barrett (Jim), Jerry (Jean), Kathleen Moore (Ed) and Peggy Gittins (Mal).
He is survived by: his wife Claudia; his daughter Dian McCreary; his grandchildren, Nichole Tomlinson (Robert Douglas), Tommi Lynn McCreary and Kody McCreary; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Connor, Kiara, Kaiden, Addison, Alaina, Maddielynn, Anthony, Leo and Averie; and his sister Judith Stilwell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
