With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherrie Lynn Sweet (Stow, Ohio), born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2026 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sherrie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sherrie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Richard Walters; and her sister Laura Burton. She is survived by: her husband Christopher Sweet; her son Michael Murphey (Helen); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mayo and Dominic Staszko; her mother Beverly Walters; and her siblings, Jody Williams and Richard Walters (Bill). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Redmon Funeral Home (3633 Darrow Rd, Stow, OH 44224). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
