He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Beverly; his son Todd (Jamie); his grandchildren, Anna, Anderson and Claire; his nephews, Steve, Jim, Bob, Joe and Ted; his parents, Homer Hurst and Anna Hurst; and his siblings, Bob, Betty, Jack, Spurgeon and Dudley. He was also cherished by his brother, (Spurgeon), and sister-in-law, (Janie), and treating his nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army.
