We are sad to announce that, on December 29, 2022, at the age of 90, Thomas F. Michalec of Stow, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Michalec and Della Michalec; and his sisters, Dorothy Wyszynski (Thomas), Gertrude Swiokla (Francis), Beatrice Smirnow (Boris), Louise and Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Christopher (Lisa), Shawn (Jacquie), Laura McFarland (Martin), Mitchell and Edward (Gina Jones); and his grandchildren, Molly, Catherine Michalec, Josie, Ruby Michalec, Austin (MacKenna), Casey, Haley McFarland, Katelin Thompson (Chad), Emily Nestelle (Chris), Colin Michalec, Logan, Chloe and Quinn Michalec. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
When the Parkinson's disease made maintaining the Wooster property much more difficult, he returned to the Akron area where he was able to spend more quality time with his friends and family.
