He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Whitmer and Mildred Whitmer (Horrisberger); and his sister Ann Leech (Richard). He is survived by: his siblings, Sue Cancasci (Maurice) of Mason, Jane Whitmer of Walnut Creek and John Whitmer of Winesburg. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
