He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles (Barbara Smith) and Hudson; and his sister Cynthia Ann Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his daughters, Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Smith (Rick) and Melissa Smith; his granddaughters, Amber (Jon) and Taryn; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Parker, Addisynn and Levi; his siblings, Sandy Carmer, Chuck Smith, Bob Smith (Lisa) and Kevin Smith (Patty); and his siblings-in-law, Belinda Blank (Mike) and Doug McKenzie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and good friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Polish American Club (472 E Glenwood Ave, Akron, OH 44310).
