She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Sr.; her parents, Hazeltine Taylor and Reverend Mack Taylor; and her siblings, Larry Taylor, Mack Taylor, Aubrey Taylor, Gloria Ann Scott and Donna Kaye Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Jr., Traci Gregory (Keeon) and Cassandra Ellis (George); her grandchildren, Kendall Gregory, Kaci Gregory, Brittany Crowe, George Ellis Jr., Michal Ellis, Sandra Ellis, Jakki Ellis and Taylor Ellis; and her brothers, Leon Taylor and Bridge Muhammad (Gwendolyn Cox).
