Archbishop Nikodemos wrote a sympathy message

“My absolute deepest condolences and fervent apologies for not attending on behalf of the Holy Traditional Greek Orthodox Church of America and Canada. He was a very warm soul and a true friend for life if he realized you were sincere also. I regret his decision to go to the Ukrainian National Church towards the end and we lost track. I pray they gave him a wonderful send off and know with all of my heart he is in Paradise. If you need anything, please call me. ARCHBISHOP NIKODEMOS 5862573952”
