He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Mabel; his wife Shirley (Coulter); and his brothers, Walter and Jerry.

He is survived by: his children, Sheri Zakarowsky (John), Darla Stiles Neumann (Gary), Cathy Javaras (Michael) and Dallas Jr. (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Matthew Javaras (Alicia), John Zakarowsky, Ashley Lapikas (Mark), Carrie Bielinski (Justin), Dallas Stiles (Kayla) and Dylan Stiles. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
