He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine N. McConchie. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Forte (David F. Forte); his grandsons, James and William Forte; his siblings, Arnold (Lucille), Athleen (James Pease), Madelyn (Leroy Benner) and Nathan; and his nephew New England.
