It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Emily Kato of Strongsville, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Kato, Sr.; her sons, William Kato, Jr. (Donna), Eric Kato and Victor Kato (Irene); and her parents, Ed Yeske and Meta Yeske.
She is survived by: her children, Janine Amoroso (Gregory) and Stephen Kato (Colleen); her sister Grace Steffern (late Ed); her daughter-in-law Irene; her grandchildren, Christopher, Katelyn and Tim; Alex (Helen), Donna, Lauren, Michael and Bryan. She is also survived by friends than the traditional mother and son.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Kemper House.
