He is survived by: his husband Terry Verrona; his mother Renee Hines; his aunt Theresa Alexander; his father Lewis Harris; his sons, Jaxon Z. Harris and Donovan M. Walker; his grandmother Barbara T. Harris; his siblings, Kevin McCaleb, Vincent McCaleb, Marcus McCaleb, Aygemang Clay of Florida, Detra "Sanchez" Culton-Cooper (David) of Houston Texas, Lena Harris and Carlee "The Ungrate" Grisaffe (Michael) of Houston; his aunt Corene Harris Samuel of Florida; his uncles, Larry Hill, Paul Hill and William "Billy" Harris; and his nieces, Lauryn "Lolo" Franklin, Sadie Renee Grisaffe, Autumn "Amber Rose" Grisaffe, Coltrane Clay and Era Clay.
He completed 4 years and a degree in Criminal Justice; and in 2016 he was inducted into the Ashtabula County Basketball Foundation Hall of Fame.
