He was predeceased by: his father Demetrios Papadopoulos; and his spouse Caren. He is survived by: his children, Jim Dopoulos (Elizabeth), Mary Ann Andrews (Jeff) and Renee Nottage (Donn); his stepdaughter Holly Elgerwagi; his grandchildren, Jason (KayJay), Celina (Jason), Christine (Matt), Jonathan (Sara), Megan and Alyssa (Bobby); and his great grandchildren, London, Betsy, Cameron, George, Christian, Carter of Coby, JJ, Amira and Bella.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Red Cross, with special a notation for the donation to go towards the Hurrican Ian Relief.
