He is survived by: his wife Katherine Krist; his son Alfred "Fred" Krist (Theresia); his sister Anna Goldscharek; his grandchildren, Michelle Goettemoeller (Drew), Nicholas Krist (Taylor) and Maria Krist (Logan); and his great grandchildren, Henry Goettemoeller and Josef.
