He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartolo Alicea and Maria Ramos; and his grandson Luis Ruiz Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Maria Rodriguez (Guillermo), Donna Dietz (late Carl) and David Alicea (Christi); his grandchildren, Judie Ruiz (Felix), Carlos Ruiz, Jeffrey Dietz (Shelley), Matthew Dietz (Michelle), Phillip Dietz (Jen), Shannon Dietz, Nathan Dietz, Dana Kuznik (Nick), Zachary Alicea (Anna) and Jake Alicea; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Daysha, Mariah, Angelina, Gregory, Nick of Luis, Carlos Jr. "CJ", Johan, Malachi, Jahsel, Dante, Lacey, Allyson, Jocelyn, Taylor, Jordan, Giovanni, Evelyn, Carlee, Gaven, Jaden, Salvatore and Marcelo; his great great grandchildren, Zuhri, Jasper, Jaxon and Leo; and his siblings, Silveria, Andres, Dominga, Honorata and Meliton.
