She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Folino and Esther Folino (Romano); her husband Gordon Arthur Short; and her brothers, Anthony and James Folino.

She is survived by: her sons, James A. Ross, Gordon C. Short (Megan) and Gregory S. Short (Gail); her brother Robert Folino (Cathy); her grandchildren, Angelo Ross, Mallory Short, Charlie Short, Hudson Short and Eleanor "Ellie" Short; and her nieces and nephews, Valerie Fox, Vickie Bush (John), Robert Folino, Melissa Sequete (Randy), Ryan Folino, Alex, Evan Sequete, Austin Fox, Braelynn Bush and Carmela Folino.
