He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia; his sons, Scott (Lora), Robert, Mark (Peggy), Bill (Denise) and Rick (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Amber Zidek, Michael Slavik (Natalie), Andy Slavik (Lisa), Nicole Slavik, Kelsey Smith (Jake), Jordan Slavik (Ashley), Samantha Verbiak (Jordan), Rebecca Slavik and Matthew Slavik; and his great grandchildren, Zoe, Mia, Charlotte, Colton, Molly, Gracelyn, Emerson, Henry and Johanna.
