He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Phyllis Matanick; his children, Dave Matanick (late Annette), Valerie Mattingley, Philip Matanick (Brenda), Ron Matanick (Julie) and Vern Matanick (Anita); his sisters, Loretta Mickey (Leo), Madeline Lutz (late Chuck), Kathleen Petcash (Andy) and Roberta Kwiatanowski (late Henry); and his grandchildren, Lianna (Jason), Tim (Caroline), Nathanael (Christina), Rivka (Kent), Naomi, Noriah (Aron), Josh, Kayla (Jeremy), Tyler (Maddie), Danielle (Lisa) and Brandon (Waad).
