She was predeceased by: her son David Intihar; and her parents, Ira Duncan and Alice Duncan. She is survived by: her husband Carl J. Zipfel; her children, Chris Intihar (Sandy), Carl Zipfel Jr. and Curt Zipfel (Jackie); and her grandchildren, Wil, Alie, Nikki, Kayli, Christopher, Hannah and Hailey.
