She is survived by: her husband Roberto Torres; her children, Amanda Bezik (Cody), Eric Richardson (Hanna), Yazmin Torres-Duqum (Victor), Krystina Torres and Roberto Torres Jr.; her siblings, Laura Yates, Steven Yates, Karen Weber (Rick) and James Yates (Kelly); her grandchildren, Nickolas, Adriana, Blake, Isabella, Cruz, Faye and Winona; and her pet Chiquita.
As her final physical gift to the world, Sandy was able to donate her eyes, allowing someone else the opportunity to view the world with the same compassion, love, and patience that she always did.
