He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Daum and Laurice Daum. He is survived by: his son Laurice Daum (Abood); his wife Nancy; his children, Robert Daum (Loraleigh), Scott Daum (Kelly), Kurt Daum (Cynthia) and Courtney Wolf (Justin); his former wife Elaine Daum (Kolo); his sister Lila Fredenberg; his niece Camille Licklider (James); his nephew Christian Anderson (Anastasia); his stepchildren, Melanie Lowe Fleischer, Matt Lowe, Paul Slivka (Lindsay) and Bubba; Zhiddo. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
Services are being held privately, however for those who would like to make a donation in his honor, he was dedicated to The Assad Abood Foundation, a charity focused on providing education for disadvantaged youth in his maternal family's ancestral homeland of Aitanite, Lebanon.
