Joseph Ungarsky wrote a sympathy message

“I met Bill when I started working at Cook United, right out of high school. Despite differences in our age, we struck up a once in a lifetime friendship. The 9 years I worked with Bill were some of the most enjoyable and memorable years. He was like a big brother to me. He was family. We played softball together at Cook and then at Saint Monica's. We hung together and visited each other's families. After Cook United closed, we still remained in touch. God doesn't make them any better than Bill.”

“My sincere condolences on the loss of Bill. I had the opportunity to get to know Bill while playing softball with him in the men's league at Saint Monica's parish in Garfield Heights. He was a kind and gentle man. May he now rest in the arms of the angels in heaven. Barry Fashinpaur”
