We announce the death of Ann Elizabeth Stanavich (Struthers, Ohio), who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 70. Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen M. Kopkash and Catherine A. Horvath; her brother Michael J. Kopkash; her brother-in-law Max Belchyk; and her in-laws, Pauline C., Joseph A. Stanavich, Samuel L. and Louise Tharp.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph J. Stanavich; her children, Stephanie M. Stanavich, Eric D. Tharp, Amanda J. Stanavich and Emily Colaianni (Rob); her grandchildren, Adriana, Carter and Noah Colaianni; her siblings, Mary (Paul Kasper), Helen Belchyk and Steve (Chris Kopkash); her cousin Heidi (Jim Nichols); and her close friend Sue Boyer.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home (8536 Market St, Boardman, OH 44512). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Animal Charity of Ohio at 8469 Southern Blvd. Building 3, Youngstown, OH 44514, in her memory.
