Carol Ann M. Vicarel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ann M. Vicarel (Struthers, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Vaio and Anne Vaio (Smesko); her sister Linda Vaio; and her son-in-law Jerry Scavnicky. She is survived by: her husband Monte Vicarel; her daughters, Annie Scavnicky, Monica Vicarel (Kelly) and Gina Shaffer (Adam); her grandsons, Michael Scavnicky, Alec Vicarel, Zachary Vicarel and Monte Shaffer; her brothers, Joseph Vaio (Tammy) and Frank Vaio (Debbie); and her siblings-in-law, Jack (Gina Vicarel) and Kathy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Twice she served as a community guest cook at Selah's Restaurant for charity, and both events sold out.
