He was predeceased by: his parents, John Salata and Mary Louise Berendt Salata; and his grandparents, Michael, Mary Salata and Rose Berendt.
He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Salata of Boardman and Judy Daniell (Frankie) of Savannah Georgia; his niece Jennifer Johns (Robert) of Savannah; and his cousin Jeanie Showalter.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that material tributes take the form of contributions to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 471 Mathews Road, Boardman, OH 44512 in memory of Jim.
