She was predeceased by: her parents, James McCormick and Hannah L. McCormick (Brown); and her children, Rick P. Slaven, Michael R. Slaven and Sharon J. Dubec.
She is survived by: her husband Ray E. Slaven; her grandchildren, Jeb Slaven (Katherine), Emily Culp (Dan), John Dubec Jr., Erin Slaven, Katie Slaven and Hannah Dubec; and her children-in-law, Emily Slaven of Poland and John Dubec (Heidi) of Struthers. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home (270 N Main St, Poland, OH 44514). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
