We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2024, at the age of 58, Michael J. Yemma (Struthers, Ohio), born in Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Dr. John J. Yemma Sr.; and his grandparents, Ralph, Erma DePasqua, Rocco and Ann Yemma.
He is survived by: his mother Rosetta DePasqua Yemma; his sister Lynn Yemma (Sean); his siblings' children, Taylor, Sammy and Anthony Valiquette; his sister Regina Yemma-Stransky (Aaron); his siblings' children, Alyssa Malpass, Vincent and Nicholas Pagley; his brother John Yemma (Dawn); his siblings' children, Brittany, Joshua, Jordan and Mikayla; his brother Mark Yemma; his siblings' children, Elena and Nathaniel; his brother Brian Yemma (Kristen); his siblings' children, Brianna, Kaelen, Lukas and Isaiah; his brother David Yemma (Danielle); his siblings' children, Austin, Cameron and Aiden; and his aunt Gloria Wilson. He is also survived by eleven great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Michael's family requests any memorial donations be made in Michael's honor to the Dr. John J. Yemma Sr., Memorial Scholarship at Youngstown State University Bitonte College of Health and Human Services.
