He was predeceased by: his parents, John Placko and Mary Placko (Paval). He is survived by: his children, Phillip J. Placko, Jr. (Tina) of Struthers, Christina Probst of Painesville and Tina Skalos (Matt) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his former wife Marjorie Placko-Baker of Ashtabula; and his pet Piper. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
